Welcome

Welcome to Circle of Trust - a Lord of the Rings Online, European Kinship on Snowbourn server.

Our Philosophy
Fun, relaxation, friendship and loyalty - this is what the Circle of Trust is about. We aren't interested in the "uber" loot or powerlevelling. We are interested in enjoying ourselves and supporting each other as friends whether it is our crafters or adventurers, our questers or roleplayers in a non-pressurised atmosphere.

If you want to race through the levels, be the "best" on the server, want to raid every night of the week, are greedy, disrespectful of others feelings, can't be bothered to type out full words, like to swear, or "play evil" then please look elsewhere as this is not the Kinship for you.

Code of Conduct
This is the Circle of Trust, we therefore trust our members to:

  • to treat others as you would wish to be treated
  • to help each other, whether it be questing or crafting
  • to maintain a good level of English grammar and spelling (we aren't draconian though, if English isn't your native language, we won't throw you down a disused hobbit hole)
  • to avoid at all costs dude/text message/leet speak at all times
  • to be active on these forums
  • to show respect, not only to Kinship members but other LotRO gamers as well
  • not to join other Kinships whilst you are still a member of Circle of Trust, either with your main character or your alternate characters
  • to think of Kin members first should you find a piece of equipment that you do not need but that you could give them to upgrade their own
  • to never "ninja loot" or "greed loot"...remember "need before greed, can use will use" at all times
  • to read, understand and stick to the LotRo End User License Agreement

Recruitment
To see if we are currently recruiting, please check the 'Circle of Trust Recruitment Status' thread in the Recruitment forum.

If you are sending in an application, please bear in mind that the fuller and more interesting your application the more likely it is to pass. One word replies tell us nothing about you as a person and, as it's the people who matter in CoT, submitting a brief application will not get you accepted.

Please do NOT apply if you are applying to several Kinships at the same time and then taking the first offer. We are only interested in people who genuinely want to join Circle of Trust, not just any Kinship.

To apply just click the link at the top of the page and fill in the application form.

If you do not wish to join the Kinship but would like to say hello, just create a user account at Guild Portal (link at top of page). You will be able to visit our Forums and find more information on our Kinship.

Well if you’ve read this far you probably want to know what we’re really like….click here, here, oh and here

Any of the Emissaries will be happy to talk to you on the forums or in-game about the Kinship.

Thanks

Dantallion
Circle of Trust Kinship Leader
